CHICKEN WITH WOOD EAR MUSHROOM

Ingredient

-(Serves 4)
500g boneless chicken breast or other chicken parts you like
100g  Healthy n Fresh Wood Ear Mushroom,cut into small pieces
2 cloves Healthy n Fresh garlic (minced) OR
1.5 Tbsp Healthy n Fresh crushed garlic
2-3 Tbsp of oyster sauce
1 tsp of white pepper powder
2 Tbsp of corn starch (mix with about 2 Tbsp of water)
1 1/2 cup of  hot water 
2 Tbsp of olive oil
A handful Healthy n Fresh  coriander leaves

 



Method

  1. Preheat your wok/pan with the olive oil. Sauté the garlic for about 10 seconds, add in the wood ear mushroom and chicken breast. Continue to sauté until the chicken turns white in color. Add in the oyster sauce and pepper, adjust the taste and add more if needed
  2. Add in 1 1/2 cup of hot water and bring it to a boil and lower the heat. Let it simmer until the chicken is cooked and the mushroom is soft
  3. Increase the heat again and bring it to a gentle boil. Stir the corn starch mixture you prepare earlier and pour into the wok. Continue to stir as the sauce will start to thicken. Turn off the heat
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves
  5. Serve immediately with rice
